   Dear Ciro,

   I hope this message finds you well.

   You may remember my dear friend Sabino Labarile, who had been using your astrological consultations since the 1990s.

   Since then, Sabino always did relocated solar return birthdays.

   When you stopped offering individual consultations, Sabino began consulting an astrologer in Puglia. I do not know who the astrologer was, but in my opinion, over the years, he was not always accurate.

   A few days ago, Sabino passed away.

   His last relocated solar return birthday was in Helsinki, on August 8, 2025.

   I cannot believe that the astrologer did not see, while calculating the relocated solar return, the critical death-related transits over Helsinki.

   However, I know that Sabino had been offered three alternatives for his birthday: Tokyo, Honolulu, and Helsinki.

   For convenience, Helsinki was the easiest to reach from Italy.

   During the summer of 2025, Sabino started having back pain.

   After returning from Helsinki, things deteriorated very quickly, perhaps over the course of two months, with a diagnosis of what they initially believed to be “fat spots” along the spine. In reality, it turned out to be a rare type of stomach cancer: signet-ring cell gastric adenocarcinoma.

   Then, at the beginning of 2026, he fell in the hospital on a wet floor and, as a consequence, developed a recurring pleural effusion. He was constantly on oxygen. At that point, everything became impossible to understand.

   He was in and out of the hospital until June 23, 2026, with death certified at 6:08 in the morning at Miulli Hospital in Acquaviva delle Fonti, in the province of Bari.

   You often analyze complex cases.

   Sabino’s case is an ordinary one: cancer, and that is all.

   But something about this situation does not convince me.

   What does not convince me is the astrologer’s failure. He had apparently seen “a few little problems”… but not death?

   I know that working on something like this requires time, but if this message makes you as curious as Sabino’s death makes me curious — and destroys me — I beg you to take a look.

   And if you know who the astrologer is, among your students, perhaps a conversation with him, or maybe even a refresher on how to read astrological aspects, could do him some good.

   I do not remember his name, but I remember Sabino saying that he was someone who talked a lot, that he was long-winded, and that Sabino always had to take “the essence of what he was saying.” He also said that sometimes something was not completely “spot on,” but more or less it was fine.

   I believe, almost certainly, that he was in the province of Bari, perhaps in Gravina or somewhere else. Sabino told me years ago, but I do not remember.

   I am sorry for intruding into your life, but the truth is, I cannot keep this to myself. I tell everyone what I think — as I always do — but without sugarcoating it.

     Dear Dariana,
     As I already replied privately, what you told me is truly serious and amounts to murder.
     The fact that astrologer X told poor Sabino that Hawaii or Japan would be better, further aggravates the situation: a surgeon, while operating, cannot ask the patient: “I can remove only part of the cancerous tissue or I can remove it all: what do you want me to do?”
     The astrologer, if he is truly worthy of the name, does not tell the patient: “If you don’t have enough money to travel, then stop in Oslo.”
     This is murder.
     No student of mine worthy of the name would do this, and only those inspired by the worst ‘oroscopari’ (“horoscope tellers”) in the world could act this way.
